About us
Aesop—which has been part of L’Oréal Luxe since 2023—was established in Melbourne in 1987. Since then, we have been formulating products with efficacy foremost in mind—their complex, distinctive aromas are but an incidental treat.
In each of our unique stores and counters, informed consultants help customers select the products that are best suited to their actual needs—collaborating with office-based team members who help cultivate our retail focus.

What is the hiring process at Aesop?
Our hiring process may vary, depending on the position.
Typically, once you have submitted your application online, it will be reviewed by the Talent Acquisition team. Should your application appear to meet the requirements for the position, they will arrange a telephone interview with you, or in some cases, a video interview.
Those successful at this stage will be invited to attend an interview with the Hiring Manager. This is an opportunity to share more about your skillset, personality, and why you are the right person for the position.
For some positions, we ask candidates to take part in a form of assessment before we move on to background and reference checks, and a final offer.
How long does the hiring process take?
The length of the hiring process depends on the position and the experience level. We take our time to ensure we have thoroughly considered all applications, and make sure to respond to all candidates accordingly.
